How to create a new content flow. Steps & Explanations

Modified on Mon, Sep 1 at 10:45 AM

You can use Fozzels to automatically change texts in your online store, using OpenAI ChatGPT, Gemini, xAI or Anthropic. To do this, set up a “Flow,” which is an instruction set on what the system should do for which products.

How to create a Flow?

1. To create a flow, go to the “Content Flows” section in the header of your account.
2. Choose the store from “Choose store” dropdown and press the “New Product Flow” button to create a new flow.

3. Fill in the following mandatory fields: Name and Attribute, and click the “Save” button.

The flow has been created and is now visible under the "Flows" category.

Note: To see Flow under a separate store, need to click "Choose store" and select the appropriate store.

Flow Settings
AI Configuration Tab

In this tab you can:

1. select the vendor and AI model for content generation (use Vendor's dropdown and the relevant model tiles)

2. add optional features like "Web search"
3. specify the number of product images (1-5) that will be used for a more detailed product description (optional),

4. set the maximum number of tokens,

5. adjust text styles and tones from dropdowns.

6. click “Save” button to save configuration.

Note: These settings are optional. If not specified, the service will apply default settings, which also provide great results!

Flow Selection & Prompt Tab

Go to the "Flow Selection & Prompt" tab. This section contains the main flow settings, where you define the products and set up the content generation process.

Note: These settings are crucial, as they determine how and for which products content will be generated.

In this tab, you need to activate the flow by checking the corresponding checkbox and select the attribute for generation. Content generation will not start in this case.

How to select products

In the tab “Flow Selection and Prompt”, select "Add condition" after which you will see the drop-down fields, where you can choose the variables that will later define your products. If necessary, you can choose several conditions by clicking the "Add condition" button. Or you can add a group of conditions by the click “Add condition group”.

If no conditions are set - all products will be used!

Filtering products

1. Filtering by Value Conditions

Basic Scenarios for Each Filter Type:

  • Equal: Enter an existing value → the result should show only products with this value.

  • Not equal: Enter a value → show all products except this one.

  • Is empty: Show only products where this attribute is empty.

  • Is not empty: Show only products with a filled value.

  • Contains: Search for a part of the value → show all products containing this fragment.

  • Doesn't contain: Show products that do not contain this fragment.

  • In / Not in: Enter multiple values separated by commas → should show products that match the list or those that don’t.

  • Begins with / Ends with: Should find products by the start/end of the value.

  • Is null / Is not null: Should correctly handle empty or non-empty values.

2. Filtering by Date Conditions

Basic Scenarios for Each Filter Type:

  • Is empty: Shows records where the field value is absent.

  • Is not empty: Shows records where the field value is filled.

  • Equal: Shows records where the value exactly matches the entered one.

  • Less: Shows records where the value is less than the entered one.

  • Less or equal: Shows records where the value is less than or equal to the entered one.

  • Greater: Shows records where the value is greater than the entered one.

  • Greater or equal: Shows records where the value is greater than or equal to the entered one.

How to create the prompt

Write a prompt to guide the content generation. When creating a new Flow, the "Prompt" field will be empty by default.

Note: It is not possible to save the flow with an empty prompt.

Read more about creating prompt with Advanced Prompt Drag and drop  here .

Saving a created prompt as a template.

If necessary, a custom prompt can be saved as a template and reused in the future. To do this, click the "Save" button, enter a name for the template in the "Name" field under "New Prompt Template," and save it.

To choose a prompt from templates, go to the "Prompt Templates" tab and select the desired template from the list, considering the language and attribute.

Preview button

Save and Preview” button allows to see the flows before they are generated. To see the preview of all products and the total number of products that match previously selected conditions, need to click the Save and Preview button at the bottom of the page.

8. In the Preview pop-up you can see generated data by clicking Generate now button.

9. For convenient viewing, increase or decrease the number of records per page, use pagination, and search.

Automation settings for content generation

At the bottom of the “Automatization” tab, you can see "Plan & Close" button.

Plan and close” button signifies that you can specify the certain amount of completions a day. To do this, you need to set up a amount in the “Product count per run” field and then press “Save” button. After that, press “Plan & Close”. The data will be generated in amount you have mentioned.

Note: Each plan has its maximum limit per day and month. Don’t forget to press “Save” button first and only then “Plan & Close”.

  • If you want to Fozzels automatically push the generated text to integration and doesn’t ask for your confirmation, tap the appropriate checkbox.

  • If you want to Fozzels automatically regenerate target attribute when product attribute was changed, tap the appropriate checkbox.

Note: Do not forget to activate flow in ‘Flow Selection & Prompt’ tab. Check-in checkbox and press “Save” button.

Instant start of generation

Under “Plan & Close” button you can find "Run now" button.

It means that the products will be generated at the same moment you press them. Before you press it, ensure all the configurations have been saved.

Duplicating the flow

Duplicate existing rule by clicking Save & Duplicate button. After clicking on the button, a redirect to a new flow should occur. All data will be the same on both rules.

Batch List

The “Batch list” button allows to see the groups of items that are being generated.

On the Batch List page, the date and time when the data was generated and the total amount of batches will be shown.

Depending on your settings:

  • the content will either be generated and synchronized automatically (if the "Fully automatic without confirmation" checkbox is selected).

  • the content will be simply saved with a pending status. Check this content and manually synchronize it when possible, by clicking “Sync Now” button.

15.It's possible to edit generated data by clicking on one of Target lines under “Target attribute” column. To save info click “Save” button, to synchronize - “Save & sync” button.

  • If press “Sync now” button the specific data from the batch will be synchronized at the same moment. If you click the "Save" the content will  be saved without synchronizing.

  • If click the "Save" the content will  be saved without synchronizing.

  • If click the "Regenerate" the content will  be regenerated.

If the generated content will be detected by Fozzels as a suspiсious, the notification with this will appear under the editing field. So regenerate the content, save it, and sync if needed.

Note:

To ensure the creation of clean and high-quality content, generated material is automatically checked for unwanted symbols, words, and expressions.

If the system detects such elements, the content is flagged as "suspicious," and the user is notified accordingly.

"Suspicious" content cannot be synchronized without the user's prior consent. In such cases, the content must be regenerated until it meets the verification requirements.

To set up the regeneration of synchronized content every time one of the product attributes used in the prompt changes (e.g., description, size, discount, etc.), select checkbox  “Automatically create a new content when an attribute of a product changes in your store”.
