Create an OpenAI-account and set up payment

In order to use the OpenAI text generation (GPT-3, GPT-3.5 or GPT-4), you will need to create an OpenAI-account.

After this, you will receive so-called "API keys", so that OpenAI knows that it's you, when you are connecting the Fozzels software to OpenAI.

Do the following:

• Go to the OpenAI website and click on the “Sign Up” button in the top right corner of the page.

• Fill out the form with your email address, password, and any other required information. Be sure to use a strong, secure password to protect your account.

• Click the “Create Account” button to complete the process.

• You’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to verify your account. Click on the link to complete the verification process and log in to your account.

• Go to the Billing Overview page: https://platform.openai.com/account/billing/overview

• Click the button "Add paid account" to select the "Pay as you go" option, and add your credit card details. You will be billed only for the usage of the API, so no monthly subscription! More information on pricing you can find on or blog: https://fozzels.com/news/ai/chatgpt-pricing-openai

You are done, and can now continue creating the OpenAI-API keys.
