New Feature! Image Resize: Optimizing Images for Successful Content Generation

We are excited to introduce the new Image Resize feature! It automatically optimizes large images, ensuring they meet the technical requirements of our content generation system. This feature is enabled by default in your account to ensure maximum reliability and efficiency for your operations.

How to Manage the Image Resize Feature

We inform you about this new feature in the settings for each of your workflows (Flows).

You can manage this feature individually for each Flow in the settings:

1. Go to the editing screen for any of your flows.

2. In step 2 AI Configuration, scroll down to the Image Resize section.

3. Enable/Disable:
   
   If you do not plan to add images for analysis or generation in this specific flow, you can disable this feature by unchecking the "Enable Image Resize" box.
   
   

Please note: Disabling this feature may lead to an increase in content generation errors if you upload images that exceed the limits.

Technical Details and How It Works

When does Image Resize activate?

The image resizing mechanism is activated only for images that exceed the technical limits:

File size exceeds 2 MB (MegaBytes)    AND   width or height of the image exceeds 2048 pixels.

Where does the feature apply?

The Image Resize feature works for:

1. Image Usage (Analysis): Images you add for AI analysis within your flows.

2. Image Flow (Generation): Images sent along with the prompt for new content generation (e.g., in Gemini Image Generation models).
   
   

Cost and Expense Tracking

The cost for resizing a single image is €0.0025 per image. This fee is only charged when the feature has actually activated (i.e., when the image met the technical criteria and was resized).

You can always track these expenses on the Transactions page of your account.

On the Transactions page, the usage of the Image Resize feature is displayed as a separate expense line:
